ANTS

In the late spring all of the way through to summer, ants are actively collecting food for their colonies. In a natural setting they would eat things like "honeydew", which is a sugar-rich secretion given off by aphids.

Man makes it easy to gather the same type of sugar-rich substance all around the house. They love sugary liquids like juice, pop, honey, jam and other sweet treats. Waste containers and improper sanitation lead to ants trailing inside the house and invading your kitchen.
